Family Tradition since 1975

Central Electric—a 2nd generation family-owned company—is focused on growing people through lasting relationships. This extends from owners, to general contractors, trade partners and our vendors and suppliers. We specialize in “A Family Tradition Since 1975” of building and designing unique and challenging electrical projects/ solutions. WHAT WE DO

We at Central Electric, believe in growing people through lasting relationships. We challenge ourselves and learn by building and designing unique and challenging opportunities, which include:

​

  • Heavily detailed commercial construction w/ some industrial work

  • Ground up, renovations, historic remodels and energy upgrades

  • Underground distribution, manholes, site lighting, stadium lighting

  • Specialty: Fire alarm, EVCS, 400hZ, SCADA, PA, Nurse Call, Mass Notification

  • 24hr Service Department with rotating after hour technicians

POSITIONS

LICENSED JOURNEYMEN

A licensed journeyman electrician must have the tools and skills to complete electrical work safely, up to code, and in extreme heat or cold conditions.  Ability to work with, and train, new apprentices to meet our high standards of electrical work. Must comply with all safety protocols. (Applications must be completed in person. M-Thurs 8 to 4pm, Fr until noon.)

APPRENTICE

An apprentice electrician is an entry-level electrician enrolled in a 4-year apprenticeship program to learn the tools and skills necessary to become a license journeyman electrician. Must comply with standards and procedures of industry, Safety Manual, and abide by safety rules. (Applications must be completed in person. M-Thurs 8 to 4pm, Fr until noon.)

INTERN

Interns learn communication skills, exposure to the generational workforce, understanding how to build relationships with co-workers and supervisors, develop a career path, mentorship and community involvement. We work with local HS Construction Curriculm. Local HS Directors interested in electrical internships should call our office.
